At Fluff Bros, our journey began in June of 2024, inspired by our two fluffy English Cream Golden Retrievers and our passion for providing them with healthy, natural treats. As a family of five with three energetic boys, we wanted to ensure our dogs enjoyed snacks made with love and care.

What started as a simple idea to bake healthy treats at home quickly blossomed into something more. We shared these homemade goodies with friends and neighbors, and the feedback was incredible! People loved that our treats were free from chemicals and packed with wholesome ingredients. Realizing how difficult it was to find healthy, chemical-free dog treats online, we decided to turn our passion into a family business.

Our goal wasn’t just to provide delicious and healthy treats for our dogs and others — we also wanted to teach our boys the value of hard work and dedication. They’ve been involved in the baking process from the start and love helping take videos of our dogs enjoying the treats.

The journey hasn't been without its challenges. We quickly discovered that homemade dog treats are highly regulated, requiring us to register with our state’s Department of Agriculture, undergo lab testing, and get our labels approved. Once we achieved this, we started selling — but soon realized some of our original recipes didn’t have the shelf life we had hoped for.

Determined to improve, we researched natural preservatives and found that apple cider vinegar and honey could enhance freshness. After reworking our recipes and conducting more testing, we saw improvement — but knew there was still room to grow. Further research led us to invest in a dehydrator to reduce moisture in our treats. This step was a game-changer, extending the shelf life of our treats from a few weeks to several months.

Since then, we've proudly attended local pop-up markets where we've received amazing feedback. Meeting our customers and their beloved pets has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey. We've built lasting relationships and love seeing dogs enjoy the treats we’ve put so much care into creating.
